Lewis County's largest event of the year is happening now at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds in Chehalis, and continues through Sunday evening! With events, entertainment and exhibits galore, the Southwest Washington Fair is guaranteed to be a wonderful time for everyone.
The Southwest Washington Fair, founded in 1909, has seen more than 90,000 people come through the gates to experience the event that serves as the celebration of our county's agricultural roots and a highlight of many people's summer. There's truly something for everybody at the fair, from youths proudly showing animals they raise to the carnival rides and so much more in between — you'll want to experience it all.
This year's fair theme, "Kids Grow at the Southwest Washington Fair," pays tribute to the children and youth of our community and the vital role they play in the fair. Themed exhibits can be seen throughout the fairgrounds through Sunday!
Each day is packed with activities, exhibits and more. Here's a printable schedule of events that you can also save to your phone and refer to when you're out and about deciding what events to attend day by day. To enlarge the image, click here.
The Southwest Washington Fairgrounds can be found at 2555 N. National Ave. in Chehalis (click or tap here for directions). Parking is available on site and at many nearby businesses, usually for a small fee to help local schools and other groups.
Stop on in to our Discover Lewis County booth, located in the middle section of the main grandstand. Say hey to the people behind the project and many other tourism groups, farms and more throughout Lewis County all week!
