Sweet Dirt Farm

Established in 2014, Sweet Dirt Farm's primary goal is to feed and cultivate the communities of East Lewis County, and to do so in a way that is harmonious with the land. Sweet Dirt Farm practices minimal tillage, with the belief that healthy, living, undisturbed soil is the key ingredient in producing the tastiest, most nutritious vegetables possible.

Sweet Dirt Farm is owned and operated by Gretchen Fritsch, who grew up in Packwood, graduated from White Pass High School, moved away, and has returned home to her roots, to raise her family and grow good food.

You can find Sweet Dirt Farm's strawberries and vegetables at the Packwood Farmer's Market every Saturday throughout the summer from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., located at 105 East Main St. in Packwood, in front of The Mountain Goat Coffee Company. Stay tuned this summer for availability at Blanton's Market also, the local IGA grocery store!

You can find photos and up to date farm information at Sweet Dirt Farm's Facebook page, or e-mail Gretchen at sweetdirtfarmer@gmail.com with any questions or comments.
