Come see the Cowlitz Prairie Grange's annual Threshing Bee Aug. 26-27, 2017 just north of Toledo for a fun glimpse into the machinery of yesteryear! It's one of the largest gatherings of its type around, and this event is now entering its second half-century, bringing people from around the region and beyond to enjoy some old-fashioned fun.
Threshing grain will take place every hour on the hour with an antique separator. A tractor pull will include 150 tractors, and more than 100 antique and craft vendors will be on site.
A corn stand will be available, and breakfast and dinner will be available both days.
The event takes place just on the Herren Farm near the Toledo Airport on Jackson Highway north of Toledo. For more info, call the Grange at (360) 864-2023.
