The Packwood Mountain Festival is coming May 5-7. The three-day event features fun for all ages, including demonstrations, live music, kids' crafts and more.
To kick off this event join in the Mountain Festival Parade which starts on May 5th at 10 a.m. and is a fun family event. The parade is a short one around 1 mile long and will run from the Packwood Improvement Club (12935 US Hwy 12 Packwood, Wa) building down the left side of Hwy 12 running east to Main Street, pass in front of The Timberland Librairy, then right on to Tatoosh Ave N. to Willame Street, then right past the Post Office and then a right back to Main Street and return to the PIC Building. For parties that may be interested in joining the parade there are applications and liability waivers that need to be filled out and returned. The festival's annual Fun Run will take place May 7. Choose from either a 5-kilometer or 10-kilometer course; the kids can also run a 1K!
Other events in the festival include a Native American drumming ceremony, and a local craft show and sale.
