Discovery Trail

Recently-planted trees have helped to stabilize the shoreline in the area and provide some shade for a nice respite on a warm day.

The Discovery Trail is frequently used by school and community groups. The Chehalis River Basin Land Trust and other stakeholders are working to make the trail part of a six-mile Chehalis River Walk corridor to connect to Fort Borst Park at some point in the future.

To get there, take Exit 82 from Interstate 5 and head west on Harrison Avenue. Follow the road past Centralia city limits and take a left on Goodrich Road. Parking for the trail is located at the end of Goodrich and is free.
