Lewis and Clark State Park

Bring your hiking shoes, or if you’re an equestrian, gear up for a ride throughout the eight miles of horse trails available. A half-mile interpretive trail describes more about the forest’s heritage.

The Jackson House, home of one of the first judges in the area, functioned as a courthouse for a time during the Washington Territory days and is open for tours by appointment. Call (360) 864-2643.

Day-use facilities are available, including a community center, picnic shelters and more. Just up the road, Matilda Jackson State Park offers more day-use facilities.
