Nestled along the banks of the Chehalis River, Lintott/Alexander Park was restored thanks to the Chehalis Foundation in the early 2000s. This park is well-known locally for its grand picnic shelters, which are rented frequently by church groups, class reunions, families and more. Horseshoe pits and a playground are also included on site.
Take State Route 6 west to Riverside Road and follow it to the end, and you’re there!
Fun tidbit of trivial knowledge: a record-breaking omelet consisting of 7,200 eggs was held at Alexander Park on July 24, 1931. A local woman greased the pan by tying slabs of bacon to her feet and skating around the griddle. Read more about that here!
