An event that bills itself "The World's Least Important Car Show" has been a major Twin Cities event for years. More than 700 cars pack out the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds for this event that brings people from all over!

Car enthusiasts from up and down the West Coast descend on the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds to see hot rods, custom builds and more. A swap meet rounds out the event at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds.

But the Fairgrounds is only one part of the show. A yearly Saturday night cruise brings the pride and joy of several car owners to downtown Centralia, evoking memories of yesteryear along Tower Avenue. Crowds gather to watch the rods cruise up and down Tower and Pearl, one of the true highlights of summer in the Hub City.

Eurydice, a contemporary retelling based on the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, is coming to the Wickstrom Studio Theatre at Centralia College Feb. 11-14 and 18-20.
