You really never know what deals you might find in Packwood at the Flea Market that's been going on at least 20 years. Scores of vendors set up shop throughout Packwood, offering wares and selling away throughout the weekend in this picturesque location in east Lewis County. It's truly a sight to behold: the entire community transforms into a major center of buying, selling and folks walking about to just peruse what's all available. The market is embraced by the local community, and many of the vendors and visitors choose to stay in local lodging for the weekend. As the market falls on Memorial Day weekend, you'll want to book your rooms early each year as they tend to fill rather quickly. The market's location, Packwood, is central to many hiking, fishing and outdoor opportunities for the whole family. Mount Rainier National Park is less than 25 minutes away, the Packwood Lake Trail is less than 15 minutes away, and so many more opportunities await.
