Raising Funds for Children's Theater Education

Begin your evening by purchasing your $5 passport at the Hubbub, 328 N. Tower Ave., or at the The Station Coffee Bar located at the south end of Tower, 120B S. Tower. Travel down Tower with your Passport in one hand and your goodie bag in the other (available to the first 200 ladies) while enjoying a night of shopping, talking, laughing, drinks and food all while helping raise money to support the Human Response Network!

This event starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, to 8 p.m. that night. Shop, dine and enjoy beautiful downtown Centralia!

Come see John Kael, Annie Staninec & Whiskey Deaf in concert in Chehalis at the Veterans Memorial Museum on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

This concert is part of the Washington Bluegrass Association's 2016-17 Winter Concert Series, held in conjunction with and hosted by the Veterans Memorial Museum in Chehalis.

Cost per ticket is $10 and includes a free tour of the museum during intermission.

The WSU Lewis County Master Gardeners will host its annual Plant Sale May 13-14, 2017 at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds.

Thousands of plants grown by Master Gardeners are made available at this sale, including annuals, perennials, berries, herbs, shrubs, native plants and more.

The sale is also a great opportunity to pick up garden accessories, such as bee blocks, planter boxes and more.

Join in the holiday fun at the Mossyrock Garden Club's Look-A-Rama. This holiday festival will be held Dec. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mossyrock Grange Hall, located at 152 Isbell Rd. in Mossyrock.

Activities abound for the young and the young at heart. Take your picture with the Jolly One himself! There will be a silent auction and raffle along with toys, crafts, candy and baked goods, poinsettias and an ornament tree. A luncheon will be served both days.

There is so much to see and do while raising money for Mossyrock High School scholarships.

The Lewis County Beer and Wine Festival brings together friends and strangers alike with an affinity for local beer and wine. Taste brews from the local Olympic Club and Dick's Brewing as well as regional brews from North Jetty Brewing, Ashtown Brewing Company, Amnesia Brewing and more. Local wineries participating include Heymann Whinery and Bateaux Cellars.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the soon-coming Boys and Girls Club of Chehalis and the Twin Cities Rotary effort to support the Literacy Corner at the Valley View Health Center.

The festival runs from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Pacific Athletic Center, 2091 Jackson Highway in Chehalis.

$20 tickets gets you in the door and a cool glass. You can purchase your tickets online or in person at the first aid room at White Pass.

Burn extra calories early in the morning, allowing for that extra helping of pumpkin pie that evening. Pre-register by November 19th to get t-shirt. Enroll the whole family for this short 3.1mile/5K Run/Walk.

Proceeds from this fun run will be donated to the Chehalis Food Bank. In 2014, this run alone was attended by over 200 people and raised over $2,000 that was donated to the Greater Chehalis Food Bank. More participants are expected this year!

Raffle prizes donated by local community merchants can be won, with tickets just $1 each!
