Mount Rainier National Park Fee Free Day: Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Mount Rainier National Park, which calls a small portion of Lewis County home, will open to the public for free on Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This would be a terrific opportunity to put chains on the tires and head up to Paradise's snowplay area, where the entire family is bound to have a fantastic time!

For more details, visit the National Park Service's website on Mount Rainier.
