The action kicks off at 9 a.m. sharp in front of the Packwood Timberland Library on Main Street West. This central location sets the stage for an invigorating run through the heart of Packwood, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Cascade Mountains.
Runners can choose between two exciting options: the challenging 10k race for those seeking a longer distance and a test of endurance, or the 5k race, perfect for runners of all levels looking for a fun and rewarding experience. Prizes await the top performers in both the Men’s and Women’s groups, adding an extra dash of competition to the event.
The excitement isn’t just reserved for adults; the Fun Run includes a 1k Kids walk/run starting at 10:30 a.m. This kid-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to introduce the little ones to the joy of physical activity, ensuring that the whole family can enjoy the festivities.
As a token of appreciation for participants, free gifts will be given out during the event, adding to the festive atmosphere. Additionally, all finishers will receive commemorative medals courtesy of Arbor Health, the proud sponsor of this event.
