The Fire Mountain Arts Council's OnStage Children's Theatre Education Program presents a musical retelling of the Chrismas Classic, "A Christmas Carol," for four nights in early December!

"Bah, Humbug!" brings together original music, dancing, singing and much more! Performances are as follows: Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are available online right now, and will be available at the BCJ Gallery in Morton Nov. 15. Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door for adults; and $5 for children 12 and under.

The Pacific Northwest Chamber Orchestra will begin its 17th season by welcoming Maestro Joshua Friedlander, Ph.D., as its new conductor. Dr. Friendlander has extensive experience performing and conducting classical music, and the orchestra looks forward to creating beautiful music under his guidance.

The public is invited to see his first performance, "Celebrate the Season," at 7:30 p.m. December 4. This free concert will be held at Corbet Theatre in Washington Hall on the campus of Centralia College.

The Evergreen Playhouse presents this famous Broadway hit about the trial of two Marines who are implicated in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay. During the trial, a young Navy lawyer who is disinterested in the case at first changes his tune and makes a valiant effort to defend his clients.

Performance dates are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from March 24 through April 9. Showtimes Fridays and Saturdays are 8 p.m., with Sundays at 2 p.m. Actors' Benefit Pay-What-You-Can Thursday is March 30 at 7:30 p.m., and Pay-What-You-Can Thursday is April 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Come see local high school education and arts programs come together for an audience at the Roxy Theater at 7 p.m. Jan. 27!

Students from high schools across the area including actors, artists, dancers, musicians and vocalists will share their talents with all in attendance.

The Historic Centralia Fox Theatre kicks off its 2017 Fox Theatre Film Series with a family favorite, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, showing at 2 and 7 p.m. Feb. 25.

Note that there are two showtimes: one in the afternoon at 2:00, and one in the evening at 7:00. Tickets are available for both, with general admission only $10 and a family pass good for four only $25.

The Fox is located on the northwest corner of Tower Avenue and Locust Street in downtown Centralia. You can't miss its iconic marquee!
