Toledo

About Toledo

Revitalization is taking place in Toledo, where citizens have banded together to reinvigorate their town for the past several years. This quaint settlement on the banks of the Cowlitz River honors its tribal heritage, much of which can be seen throughout the town.

Fishermen look to Toledo and points east as prime spot from which to start their expeditions for the day; salmon and steelhead abound in the Cowlitz River.

Check out the brand-new Toledo Community Library, a volunteer-run reading center powered by books and resources donated by the general community. The library now features a history room that interprets the heritage of the area.

While you’re in town, also stop by the Veterans Wall of Honor, which pays tribute to more than 400 veterans of foreign wars. The Wall is located at the Toledo City Park, at the intersection of 6th and Cedar Streets
