The sounds of chainsaws, cheering crowds, and roaring competition will once again fill the town of Morton as the 83rd Annual Morton Loggers Jubilee returns August 6–9, 2026. Known as the “Granddaddy of All Logging Shows,” this beloved tradition in Morton celebrates the rich logging heritage of East Lewis County while bringing together families, competitors, and visitors for one of the region’s most anticipated summer events.
The weekend is packed with activities for all ages. Festivities begin Thursday evening with the Queen Coronation, followed by Hampton Lumber mill tours and the ever-popular lawnmower races on Friday. Throughout the weekend, visitors can browse the annual flea market, enjoy delicious food vendors, and soak in the welcoming small-town atmosphere that makes the Jubilee a favorite tradition year after year.
Saturday features many of the Jubilee’s signature events, including the Jubilee Breakfast, Championship Bed Races, and the Grand Parade through downtown Morton. The afternoon brings the world-famous Logging Show, where top competitors from across the country showcase incredible skill in events such as axe throwing, speed climbing, springboard chopping, and log rolling. A new cornhole tournament, evening entertainment at the Roxy Theater, and a community dance round out the day. Sunday’s Logging Show offers another opportunity to witness the strength, precision, and traditions that have defined the logging industry for generations.
