One of Lewis County’s newest parks, McMurphy Park boasts 10.5 acres of open space and access to a gorgeous stretch of Olequa Creek just north of the city of Vader.
Barbeque pits and picnic tables make McMurphy Park a great stop for a family barbecue or a picnic. Walk to the water’s edge at the very north end of the park and take in the sounds of the waterfall that gave the city of Vader its former name, “Little Falls.”
The park is officially open from dawn to dusk, March through September. To reserve a park facility in Vader, call City Hall at (360) 295-3222.
