Situated amidst the stunning Pacific Northwest landscapes, Ricksecker Point offers visitors a panoramic vista encompassing the majestic grandeur of Mount Rainier itself, along with sweeping views of the surrounding forests, valleys, and rugged terrain. Access the viewpoint from a one-way loop located 6.5 miles from Longmire and 5 miles from Paradise along the road to Paradise. A pullout area features exhibit panels about the glacial history of the area. Ricksecker Point is accessible by vehicle during the summer only. The road closes during the winter, typically from early November through mid-May.
