South Lewis County Park Pond forms the centerpiece of this park, which naturally has a focus on boating and fishing. The pond occupies 17 acres of the park’s 43 acre total.
Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildlife staff stock the lake with trout on a regular basis, ensuring the park remains a prime fishing location for families visiting south Lewis County.
The lake itself is a perfect area for beginning boaters to learn canoeing, kayaking and more. Its calm waters year-round appeal to people of all ages.
Amenities at South County Regional Park include a designated swim area and group picnic area that is available March 1 through October 31.
