White Pass Ski Area

The White Pass Ski Area is home to eight lifts, two of which have 1,500-plus feet of vertical skiing. With Mount Rainier as a backdrop, enjoy gliding along fresh powder and taking in surreal views of the surrounding landscape.

Having expanded in 2011, White Pass offers expanded services at the High Camp Lodge, which at an elevation of 6,500-plus feet is the perfect stop for a coffee or a quick bite before heading out on your next run.

Cross-country skiers also flock to White Pass, with more than 18 kilometers of Nordic trails available on the grounds. Snowshoers can also enjoy 12 kilometers of groomed track too!

How to get there: From the west, take Exit 68 on Interstate 5 and travel nearly 100 miles on U.S. Highway 12 to the White Pass Ski Area. From the east, take U.S. Highway 12 westbound from Yakima.
