Alpine Retreat is a newer home completed in 2007. There are 3 bedrooms, two on the main level and one upstairs with an adjoining loft, and two bathrooms. The main living level includes a well-equipped kitchen, a utility room with washer and dryer, access to the house-wide deck, and a large living-dining area with a vaulted ceiling, lots of windows, CD/VCR/DVD players, and a wood stove.
In season, watch elk graze in the yard and surrounding woods, or walk a couple of blocks to the Cowlitz River and try catching your dinner. Alpine Retreat is a short walk from downtown Packwood, WA, and within minutes of Mount Rainier National Park, the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mount Saint Helens National Monument, and White Pass Ski Area.
