The White Pass Country Museum offers several exhibits detailing the history and culture of the Packwood area and East Lewis County as a whole. But while the museum offers a lot of visual history, there’s so much more to the museum than just what’s inside. Take a walking tour of Packwood, which are available by request. Experience the yearly events such as the Packwood Mountain Festival, Fun Run and more that the White Pass Country Historical Society, the operator of the museum, sponsors. Located in the former Packwood Elementary School, the White Pass Country Museum tells the stories of the colorful history of the Packwood region. The museum is generally open 11am to 4 pm. Thursday, Friday and Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays through the remainder of the year. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
