Word has it that the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad and Museum hosts Santa himself on several steam train rides in December, and he greets local kids and their families even while he's gearing up to deliver presents around the world!

Join Kris Kringle himself on the Santa Steam Trains Saturdays and Sundays from Dec. 2-3 and 9-10. each day. Each ride lasts 30 minutes and fare is $10 per person; children under 2 ride free but have to sit in an adult's lap.

The Polar Express rides will run weekends from November 24 through December 17. These are some of the most popular rides on the train and for good reason...this features the reading of the book "The Polar Express" during the run to the North Pole. The train will pick up Santa, and then he'll visit everyone along the journey home!
