The space
This is one of eight unique rooms that are named after local areas. Tall Timber Motel was built in 1965 and still features the iconic “Motel” sign in all its retro glory! The Tall Timber Motel is conveniently located next to a restaurant, lounge and espresso stand for all your needs.
This room is named after a lahar which is a massive mudflow that travel rapidly downstream and are usually associated with volcanoes. Due to the many volcanoes in the region, local schools practice lahar drills regularly.
Amenities include Cable TV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, soap and conditioning shampoo located in the medicine cabinet. Plush towels, luxury bedding, and additional blankets are located in the closet. A fan is provided year-round for those that enjoy a little noise at night. Coffee, tea and other goodies are included with stay!
